Kindergarten
The Kindergarten Program at Al Bayan Learning Center is a full-time program for 5-year-olds. In a Montessori setting, students receive a comprehensive education that encompasses Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Qur'an, Arabic, and Islamic Studies.
Our ultimate goal is to equip each child for a bright future by fostering faith, success, and leadership. Along with academic subjects, practical life skills are integrated into the curriculum.
Using a variety of Montessori techniques, we teach students the foundational concepts of ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies, preparing them for a successful elementary school education. In addition, students are introduced to the Arabic language, starting with basic nouns and verbs, and building their communication skills through the exchange of simple sentences.
Field trips to local libraries, aquariums, and parks are arranged regularly to provide students with opportunities to explore the world and enhance their learning experiences.
A central objective of our program is to introduce students to the Qur'an. Using visual, audio, and sensory tools, students start with Al-Qaida Noorania and learn the Arabic letters. Reciting and practicing the Qur'an becomes a daily routine, tailored to each student's level, with an emphasis on proper recognition and tajweed of each letter. Our students also embark on memorizing surahs from the 30th Juz.
The Islamic Studies curriculum aims to instill Qur'anic and Sunnah manners through teachings and practice. Students learn about the Prophets, using their stories as examples for future success, leadership, and good manners. To further engage and enhance the learning experience, various methods are employed such as 3D projects, art and crafts, role play and story time.
